Following the requests of many Presidents of the National Federations, the members of the Committee Directeur have voted on the regulations concerning the dates of birth of the athletes who can register in FISav competitions. We inform you that the members of the Committee Directeur have voted for the unification of the regulations concerning the dates of birth of adult and young athletes, to take into account the age on the day of weighing.
Example
For the 2018 World Assaut Championship, FISav-recognized national federations may register adult athletes, they must be at least 18 years old on the day of the weigh-in.
For the 2019 World Youth Championships, FISav-recognized national federations may register athletes aged 15 years minimum on the day of weigh-in and less than 18 years old on the day of weigh-in.
