The 2013 SportAccord Convention was held in the beautiful city of St Petersburg, Russia, May 26 to 31. This prestigious event in the world of sport took place at LenExpo with many meeting rooms, exhibition spaces and booths for sponsors and international sports organizations. Nearly 2,400 official delegates participated, including representatives of international sports federations, representatives of SportAccord, WADA officials and Ministries of Sports and Media. The President of the FISav Dr. Julie Gabriel and steering committee member, Serge Bulanov attended the Convention on behalf of the FISav.

An important meeting was the plenary session of the international federations involved in the SportAccord World Combat Games 2013 in St. Petersburg (15 federations combat sports, Olympic and non-Olympic, including Savate).
The last day we attended the SportAccord General Assembly, the most important annual meeting of the world's sports representatives. At this meeting, Mr. Marius Vizer (Judo) was elected as the new President of SportAccord.
