How did you start in savate?
Through an in-house facilitator who gave me the taste for savate and then became my first coach in club Beauchamp (95). This is Mr. Kader Drari.
Is Savate your profession or your passion?
Especially my passion but also a bit of my job because I benefit from a “Contrat d’Insertion Professionnel” with SNCF which gives me a lot of paid leave to practice at high level.
- What is your relation to Savate today?
I'm still active athlete but I invested myself more and more in coaching positions at my club in Levallois (92) as well as with elementary students in Montigny le Cormeilles (95). Since January 2014, I also held the post of Divisional Delegate Technique 92 which takes a lot of time. I therefore organize training and other Savate development in my area.
- What do you think international meetings?
The level is increasingly high, which I think is great for our international development.
- Your future prospects?
I hope to win the national title this year Assault and why not the world title. I also foresee retraining my full time in the near future.
- Something to add?
I thank my coaches, Fathi Mira and Jerome Huon, who have taken care of me for a long time and my training partners, not to forget SNCF for accompanying me in my career.
