The 2025 African Savate Championship, hosted by the Senegal Savate Federation, was held from 23rd to 27th April. The championship was held in Dakar at the National Wrestling Arena, with finals at the prestigious Stadium Marius Ndiaye. It bought together athletes from 7 countries, with an eighth team unable to participate due to cancelled flights, and showcased the growth of Savate across Africa in recent years.
The participating countries were Cameroon, Central African Republic, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia. A total of 38 men and women participated in Combat and 32 in Assaut, with several additional gala assaut bouts for cadets.

The championship was followed by the Elective General Assembly of CASav during which Matar CISS of Senegal was elected as CASav President.
