The first World University Championships of Savate took place in the heat of the Palais des Sports de Beaulieu, in Nantes.
The French team won nine gold medals and three silvers! Besides the domination of the french, eleven nations shared the podiums.
At this event, we saw good sportsmanship and good interaction between the participants, as well as a high quality of organisation - all the ingredients which are essential for such an event.
