The African Championship took place in Vacoas, Mauritius from 25 to 28 September 2019. On Wednesday and Thursday 25 and 26 September, an international judge / arbitrator seminar was held at the Euro Vacances Hotel in Beau-Bassin to be delivered by Mr Rodolphe REDON, member of the FISav Arbitration Commission.


Nine (9) countries were present for this seminar including Mauritius, Rodrigues, Tunisia, Madagascar, Morocco, Algeria, Reunion, Nigeria and Sudan. The African championship took place with the participation of 6 countries (Mauritius, Tunisia, Madagascar, Morocco, Algeria, Nigeria) as well as two members of the FISav with Mr. Joel DHUMEZ Vice President of the FISav and M. REDON, President of the European Confederation. While promoting equality and transparency, the championship was done with the participation of officials / judges / referees from Mauritius, Reunion Island, Tunisia, Rodrigues and Sudan. Thanks to the organizer Mr Azfar JHINGHUT, president of the Mauritian Federation of Savate and his team of volunteers.
