The Australian Savate Open 2018 was contested November 18th on Australia’s Gold Coast. Promoted by the Gemeiner Academy of Savate and held at Southern Cross Martial Arts, the event was overseen by international Savate Judge and referee Norihisa Watanabe from the Japan Savate club.
Norihisa did a great job refereeing all the bouts and supervising the smooth running of the competition.
Congratulations to the competitors who were all amazing and impressed everyone in attendance with their Savate skills.

With the next Open Savate competition pencilled in for the second half of 2019 Savate development within Australia looks to be promising.
