The first national Savate championship of Chinese Taipei was held in Taipei City on 29th November and 5th December 2020. The organisers held a seminar for officials before the event, and thanked the Sports Department of the Ministry of Education for its continuous support. A total of 23 teams participated in the competition, with 56 players, and a total of forty matches.
Participants included children (8-14 years), youth (14-17 years), adults (18-35 years) and veterans (over 35 years). The Chinese Taipei Savate Association purchased SAVATE LIVE competitive boots from France before the competition, so that the players could compete in the correct equipment. In addition, to championships medals, awards were given for best technique, best newcomer, the best coach and the coach with the highest team score.
