The second international Assaut competition held in Helsinki Finland was a great success. We had the pleasure of welcoming fighters from Great Britain, Japan, Germany, Russia and France. Over two days of competition in Helsinki Open 2014 we had 48 fights and 5 demonstration fights.
The atmosphere among the fighters and officials was friendly and relaxed. The same feelings were present inside the ring and the spectators had the chance to see many good Assaut fights.
...and so we are encouraged to repeat this great experience of the Helsinki Savate Open next year. We await more delegations, we will welcome the cream of the international Savate with great pleasure!
