The 2026 London Open brought together athletes, coaches, officials, and supporters for a successful day of Savate competition in London on 4 July 2026. Organised by London Savate, the event attracted 29 athletes from at least nine countries, highlighting the continued international interest in the competition.
The programme featured 33 Assaut bouts, with eight sets of gold and silver medals awarded across a range of categories, including juniors aged 15–17. The event also welcomed several athletes making their competitive debut, while competitors from the United States took part during the country's 250th Independence Day celebrations.
In a message following the competition, organiser James Southwood thanked the athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and supporters whose efforts contributed to the smooth running of the event. He also acknowledged those who had travelled long distances to compete and encouraged participants to provide feedback to help shape future editions of the London Open.
FISav congratulates London Savate and everyone involved in organising another successful international competition and looks forward to the continued development of the event in the years ahead.
