An official seminar was held in Tokyo Japan on 27th April 2014.
Nearly 20 participants learned about a chrono, a judge, and a referee. This was the second official seminar in Japan. The first was held 7 years ago, so an education for new officials was quite important task for us.
We were lucky to invite Mr. Peter Straub as our teacher. He expounded the role of these officials with his own abounding experiences. On the other hand, participants were also so positive that they asked questions frequently.
As the fruit of this seminar, we had a new official in Wcup4, Japanese Assaut Competition. And others were also very interested in an activity as officials. They kept an eye on officials, studied by themselves and asked some questions.
I can say our seminar was very successful and it was a first step for Japanese officials. We'll have more training continually, and we hope to bring new Japanese officials to World Assaut Championship in 2014.
