Pharelle AKOUAN, 2017 world combat champion and National Technical Director, led a seminar for trainees of the Savate Federation of Cameroon. During this three-day course, they worked on 4 technical areas: training, biology, refereeing and medical and social prevention.
The DTN sent us this report:
I would like to thank all the trainees, coaches and athletes of the national team for these three days of theoretical and practical training. During this internship we worked on the 4 technical areas: training, biology, refereeing and medical and social prevention. During the national course we reviewed the basics of French boxing savate and refereeing.
I gave a donation of competition equipment to the Cameroon Savate Federation as well as the 5 pairs of Savate boots provided by FISav to help organize the competitions. We have spotted several talents who can bring us medals at this year's African and World Savate Championships.
I would like to thank all the coaches, referees from Cameroon who made the trip despite the difficult conditions for this first course. I would also like to thank the president of the fecasavate Mandeng Bakadal and all the presidents of the regions of Cameroon as well as my collaborators, DTN for physical preparation, the technical direction of arbitration, the SG and the president of the Mbam department. I wish you a good return in your different cities. The training will continue online in the forum of the Cameroonian Federation of Savate.
