An unforgettable camp with world champion Ismaila Sarr took place from April 21 to 25 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, bringing together over 150 athletes from around the world: Bulgaria, France, Guadeloupe, India, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Cameroon, and Guinea-Bissau. Five days of training were filled with intensity, sharing, and self-overcoming.
Under the guidance of top-level coaches and champions, participants progressed in a very good atmosphere and high standards. We thank all the competitors, coaches, and teams for this unforgettable sports and human experience.
Special thanks to Vojtěch Mazanec, who came all the way from Prague to lead an international camp in Canne de Combat from April 20 to 25, with precision and high technique. We thank everyone who was there, present and engaged. A seminar for officials was also held from 22- 25 April. This was for Bulgarians who wanted to become officials and for the refereeing team for the international open tournament.
Following the camp, the 12th Savate World Open of Bulgaria was held on 26-27 April, with more than 35 clubs participating. Over 210 matches were held, with clubs from Bulgaria, France, and 12 other countries across four continents. More than 35 clubs. The event was closed by a gala featuring 10 thrilling matches, in Pre-Combat, Combat, and Savate Pro. It had an exciting and truly unique atmosphere that impressed both participants and guests.
