This new official event took place in VARAŽDIN, Croatia on 21st October 2017. Savate clubs were invited to enter athletes in cadet, junior and senior categories.
Nineteen clubs from 4 countries participated, with a total of 144 fighters.
Jovan Vagic (SK, Novi Sad, Serbia) was declared the best fighter of the event. The most successful club was SK Fight Club Kovačic with a total of 11 gold medals, 5 silver and 7 bronze medals.
The event organisers promoted the importance of Clean Sport, using materials from the World Anti-Doping Agency. The event also gave club officials the opportunity to work under the guidance of the FISav Arbitrage Commission, led by Maja Odzic.
The next edition will take place from in autumn 2018. More details from Sinisa Kovacic.
