A busy week of international Savate activities recently concluded in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, bringing together athletes, coaches and officials from 12 countries for the TOP SPFL CAMP and European Savate Cup.
The programme included an international training camp, the organisation of a European Savate Cup, and a Combat & Savate Pro gala evening, creating a varied schedule of training and competition throughout the week.
The training camp welcomed participants of different experience levels, from beginners to advanced athletes, with two training sessions per day. The camp was led by experienced specialists, including Ismaila Sarr and Guillaume Chauchet, who worked with athletes on both technical and mental preparation.
Across the week, nearly 150 matches took place in different categories and age groups, reflecting the growing participation in international Savate events. The organisers, who have more than twenty years of experience hosting Savate competitions, expressed their satisfaction with the positive feedback received from teams and participants.
Thanks were extended to all athletes, coaches, referees and volunteers who contributed to the success of the week. The events in Plovdiv represented another positive moment for the continued development of Savate in Bulgaria and within the international community.
