At the end of October, two finals of the World Championships were contested at the Palais des sports Lamentin, Martinique. Two French athletes, Cyrielle Girodias (F-65kg) and Kanelle Leger (F-70kg) became World Champions against Xuetao Yuan (China) and Serena Burgio (Italy).
This is the first world title for Kanelle, and a second title for Cyrielle (2013-2015). Congratulations to all the boxers for their performances.
