The 2019 World Championships in Savate Combat Qualifying heats and Junior Finals took place in the Hammamet, Tunisia, from 12th – 16th June.
More than 220 participants (athletes, officials and entourage) took place in the event, held for the first time outside of Europe.
They were welcomed by Nasreddine NSIBI, president of the Association Tunisienne de Savate (ATUSAV), and his team of volunteers.
The weigh-in took place on Wednesday and the matches began on Thursday morning. The combats were supervised by an experienced team of officials. Thank you to the officials, to Nasreddine, and to all the volunteers!
On Saturday evening, the junior finals took place - all athletes competed with energy and determination to get the title of world champion! Full results are available here
